Why should I use IndyWork?
IndyWork is a secure, closed environment that allows you to create a professional portfolio, market yourself to companies around the country, watch tutorial videos, earn points, and more.
Who can see my profile?
Your profile is visible to our network of authorized employers and recruiters.
How do I edit my profile?
To edit your profile you can tap on the ‘person’ icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, then hit the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and select ‘edit profile’.
What do I need in my profile?
Remember, this is your professional portfolio and your first introduction to new companies, so it is intended to showcase your talent and experience. The bio section is for you to tell us more about yourself and why you make a great candidate. Are you an expert at specific functions? Have you won any awards in your industry? Are you a rockstar at sales/communication? Let us know!
How do I log back in?
Click on the ‘I already have an account’ link and enter your email and password.
Can I invite other candidates?
Yes. From the main page, click on the ‘person’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner. From there, select the three dots (upper right-hand corner) then find your invite code under the ’invite friends’ tab.
Do I still need to interview?
The interview process depends on the requirements of the company you are looking to work with.
How do I contact a hiring manager?
Select the position you want to apply for. Click on the ‘Details’ tab to see the company profile, specific details about the application process, or message them directly.
Why is it important for me to select my favorite companies?
This is a shortcut for you to communicate with the companies you want to work at again and get direct notifications from them in return.
Are candidates employed by IndyWork?
No. We are a third-party platform to help you communicate easily with the companies you want to work with.
